Reset HP Deskjet F4500 - Reset to factory settings - HP Support Forum -Question : Dear Sir/Madame,
My network printer is a
Deskjet F4580. Because of a wrong network configuation performed via the embedded webserver interface, the printer is no longer reachable! I would like to know how to reset it to default factory settings so that the webserver is again accessible via the default address!

Try this: press and hold down the Cancel button then press and release the wireless button.
This should restore the printers network configuration to its default state.

This is a pretty good printer for the money. Its very easy to use and in most ways just gets on with the job. Facilities are basic, but its reasonably quick for its class and produces high quality output. Print costs are on the high side, but are likely to drop and will always be a bit higher when the asking price is low. If money is tight, the Deskjet D1660 is a good place to spend it.
